Know whether you are buying credit, bottles or time

A beverage credit is a dollar allowance subject to eligible items. A bottle package specifies bottle count or category, mixers and usually a seating arrangement. A timed open bar is limited by duration, eligible beverages and responsible-service rules. A private-room package adds a defined time block and may use credits or vouchers that do not cover every possible charge.

Ask what happens when credit is exhausted, whether substitutions cost more, when an open-bar clock starts and what remains payable inside. “VIP” alone does not identify a table, booth, room or service level. Require the venue to describe the physical seating and time limit.
